Terms & conditions for The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake

The Lodge terms & conditions

Please Note: Effective immediately, all doors — including the automatic front door — will be locked from midnight to 6am. Keycard access will be required for entry, or the front desk can permit guests arriving after midnight via an intercom.

Cancellation policy

All reservations may be changed or canceled at no charge* up to 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date. Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.

The following terms and conditions of DNC Parks & Resorts at Geneva State Park, LLC (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “our” or “us”) apply to your reservations. By making your reservations using our online reservation system you understand, acknowledge and agree to our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation without notice if we become aware of or are notified of any fraudulent or illegal activity associated with this reservation. Availability can change at any time during the booking process. Your reservation is confirmed when you receive an email confirmation. Note: Children are considered 17 years of age and younger.

​Must be age 18+ to make a reservation and check-in.

Deposit

All reservations require payment of the first night rate and tax as a deposit. Some packages and special events require full payment at the time you make your reservations. Daily rates do not include applicable state and county taxes for charges or for any other services.

Cancellations and changes

Requests for cancellation or changes may be made by calling our reservation office at (866) 806-8066. We must receive requests regarding your non-holiday reservation 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date for a refund of your deposit. Cancellations or changes to your reservation requested less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival will result in forfeiture of your deposit. If you fail to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, your reservation will be canceled and you will not receive any refund or credit.

Resort amenity fee

A daily amenity fee of $15 per night will be added to all reservations.

In addition to our regular hotel amenities, the Amenity Fee includes:

  • S’mores kit
  • Use of our bicycles
  • Use of our cross-country skis and snowshoes
  • Access to lawn games

The Amenity Fee is reflected in the deposit on your reservation and can be viewed by clicking on the “View Price Breakdown” link when making a reservation. If you have questions about the Amenity Fee, please inquire at check-in.

Added values are subject to availability and may be substituted at any time.

Special requests

Special requests, when allowed in our sole discretion, are noted and maintained in the reservation system; however, we cannot guarantee any specific rooms or locations you request. Please note, our check-in time is 4pm, and checkout time is 11am to accommodate all guests.

Third-Party reservations/credit card user

If you are making reservations on behalf of another person (“credit card holder”), you make the following representations and warranties and further agree to comply with the terms and conditions stated below: (1) You have obtained legal authorization from the credit card holder to make reservations on behalf of the credit card holder, to pay all advanced deposit charge(s) using the credit card holder’s credit card and agree to our terms and conditions on the credit card holder’s behalf and thereby bind credit card holder to our terms and conditions; (2) The Guest Information you have provided above, e.g., name, phone number, and address, is that of the credit card holder; (3) You have advised the credit card holder that we do not impose any third party booking charges and we will accept reservations directly from the credit card holder; and (4) You will inform the credit card holder of all our Terms & Conditions, and provide the credit card holder with reservation confirmation(s) and any other information or correspondence pertaining to the credit card holder’s reservations.

Group reservation policies

A group booking must consist of at least 10 separate rooms for at least one night. To inquire about group booking rates, please request a Sales Manager for qualification and applicable availability and rates. If you are booking a group reservation, the following policies apply to your reservation: All individual guest rooms must be canceled 48 hours or more prior to arrival to receive a full refund and cancellation within the 48 hour period will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Reduction of length of stay

All reductions to a guest’s length of stay must be received 48 hours or more prior to arrival. If a reduction in room nights is made within 48 hours of arrival, the guest will be required to pay a $50 early departure fee.

No shows

Will be charged the contracted nightly rate for each night the room is not occupied by the individual, up to and including the entire length of stay.

Early departures and/or late arrivals

Will be charged no less than $50 and up to the contracted nightly rate for each night the reserved room is not occupied by the individual, up to and including the entire length of stay. Please note, our check-in time is 4pm, and checkout time is 11am to accommodate all guests.

**Travel agents

Travel agents may make commissionable reservations through our GDS system now or fill out an application to be approved for commissionable reservations using our online reservation system. Non-commissionable reservations can also be made by calling our Central Reservation Office at (866) 890-1171. If you are a travel professional already registered with DNC or have received commission from DNC in the past, you may use the online reservation system.

No pet policy

All guest accommodations at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake, including the Cottages, have a no-pet policy. With the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted at The Lodge, which includes all Cottages, guest rooms, lobby and common areas, indoor and outdoor pool areas, gift shop, meeting rooms, in/near the restaurant or outside patio. If evidence of a non-service animal is discovered in your guest room, a fee will be applied to your bill.
