Lodge Amenities

Lodge amenities include an outdoor pool and hot tub; children’s outdoor play area; a lakeside, glass-enclosed indoor pool and hot tub, bicycles, fitness center; and a spacious fire terrace just outside Horizons Restaurant, which is available to rent for private gatherings.

Ziplines at The Lodge

The Lake Erie Canopy Tours will include the adult self-guided Challenge Course, ideal for family outings that lasts for up to two hours; a Kid’s Challenge Course set closer to the ground with short zips, climbing features, activities and more; and the Zipline Canopy Tour that includes a side-by-side zipline where you will zip alongside a friend, swinging bridges, several treetop towers up to 60 feet tall and more.

Indoor Pool

Daily Hours: 9 AM - 12 PM, 1 PM - 5 PM, 6 PM - 9 PM

The indoor pool and spaces will be closed twice daily (12 PM - 1 PM, and 5 PM - 6 PM), with all guests being asked to leave the area(s) for sanitizing and cleaning.

Pool towels are available at the indoor pool area.

Outdoor Pool

Our Outdoor Pool and Kids Splash Zone are currently closed for the season. Please check back for summer hours of operation.

There are also plenty of options for group meals – from Horizons Restaurant along with outdoor dining on the patio (weather permitting); meeting rooms for private dining and gatherings; along with family picnics in Geneva State Park and more.

Cottages at The Lodge

In addition to The Lodge’s 109 guest rooms, 25 lakeside cottages were added in 2016. The two-bedroom, one bath units include a king master bedroom and a second queen bedroom; living room with picture window, foldout sofa, fireplace, flat screen TV, kitchenette with mini refrigerator, and covered porch with rocking chairs. Cottage guests have the added benefit of fire pits and community gathering areas located in the midst of cottage clusters – a perfect way for family members to come together at the end of a day.

Geneva State Park

Geneva State Park, adjacent to The Lodge, includes the Geneva State Park Beach with hiking, fishing and picnicking as well as a lakeside paved trail that connects The Lodge to the state park for walking and biking.

Ohio Wine Country

Ohio’s wine country offers more than 25 nearby wineries to explore. The Lodge offers wine shuttles to a variety of local wineries throughout the year.

Geneva-on-the-Lake

The mile-long “strip” with its retro feel runs through the town, and is located within walking distance of The Lodge, offering mini-golf, go-karts, bumper boats, restaurants, arcades and more.

Outdoor Activities

For outdoor enthusiasts of all ages, there are nearby golf courses, including Geneva-on-the-Lake Golf Course, an 18-hole public golf course; North Coast Outpost for paddle boarding and kayaks, Best Coast Water Sports for jet skis and more. Also, take advantage of our new bocce ball courts, shuffleboard courts, and giant sized chessboard located in the outdoor pool area (requires sign up at Front Desk).

Covered Bridges

Nineteen historic covered bridges can be toured by car, and the area offers a full calendar of seasonal and special Ashtabula County events and festivals.
