Rest Assured at The Lodge

Delaware North at The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake is focused on creating exceptional guest experiences and the health and safety of our employees and guests has always been our highest priority. 

For all Delaware North Parks & Resorts locations as part of our newly established Rest Assured program, we have created a new cancellation policy that provides our guests with the confidence of flexibility during these challenging times.  As such, The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-lake is making changes to all aspects of business.  See all updates below. 



MASKS REQUIRED:
Masks or other face coverings are required in all indoor and outdoor public spaces at The Lodge & Cottages at Geneva-on-the-Lake. This applies to both guests and employees.
  • In line with US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, this is a safety precaution that is part of The Lodge's Rest Assured™ program. Our comprehensive health and safety standards work to help keep guests and employees safe while slowing the spread of COVID-19.
  • Thank you for your understanding and for playing a key role in protecting you, your family, friends and each of our associates.

COVID-19 Property Updates:

Check-In Delays:
  • Check-ins will begin around 4:00PM, if rooms are available. 
  • We are experiencing higher than normal wait times on rooms due to COVID-19 extra sanitation procedures.
  • Rooms may not be available for check-in until 8:00PM 
  • Guests are invited to relax in the pools, Horizons Restaurant or lobby as we work to keep guestrooms clean and safe for all visitors. 
  • Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to keep all visitors safe.

We're Here For You

We have changed many hours of operation and amenity availability to ensure ample time in between visits for cleaning and sanitation. We know this can impact your stay, so we're sharing all the updates as they develop.  

We are working hard to get all activities restored for guest access, and we appreciate your patience as we redefine the way we do business at Ohio's Wine Country Resort. If there is anything we can assist with, please contact the front desk at 440-466-7100.  See you soon on the lake! 

 WINE SHUTTLE:
  • Operating Daily with limited seating, maximum 8 riders
  • Sanitation between each drop off/pick up
  • Masks are required on the shuttle and at all winery stops
  • *Online bookings are currently unavailable for the Wine Shuttle.  Please contact the Front Desk at 440-466-7100, ext. 0 to make, change or update your shuttle reservation today. 

Horizons Restaurant & Lounge | LIMITED HOURS:
  • Open DAILY 
  • Breakfast 8:00AM-11:00AM - Ala Carte Only
  • Lunch Daily - CLOSED
  • Dinner 4:00PM-8:00PM – Limited menu
  • Lounge 4:00PM-9:00PM – Table service Only

Indoor & Outdoor Pools | LIMITED HOURS:
  • Daily Hours: 9AM-12PM, 1PM-5PM, 6PM-9PM 
  • Both the indoor & outdoor pools and spaces will be closed twice daily, with all guests being asked to leave the area(s), for sanitizing and cleaning
  • Pool towels are in your room, No Towels provided at pool
  • Additional towels available at the front desk
  • Kid's Splash area is not operating

Updated Cancellation Policy:

  • A 48-hour cancellation policy has been instituted. Reservations may be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 48 hours prior to arrival. 
For guests traveling on or after June 5, we are looking forward to having you as our guest, and wanted to let you know about the numerous precautions that The Lodge has taken to ensure your safety. We are taking the appropriate actions to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus based on the guidance of the CDC. We wanted to give you the peace of mind that:

  • Our parent company, Delaware North, is partnering with Ecolab to supply cleaning and sanitation products for use in our workspaces. The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake has ordered appropriate products and shared Ecolab's guidance on specific touch points common to our workspaces that should be disinfected with increased frequency. 
  • The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake leadership was also briefed on CDC guidance for businesses to plan for and respond to the coronavirus. This includes several directives and communications such as informative posters at key locations, hygiene supplies, environmental cleaning best practices, guidance from the National Restaurant Association specific to food-service operations and local and state health department recommendations.
  • The Lodge is following the CDC's guidance relating to employees staying home from work when experiencing symptoms of acute respiratory illness. This includes actively encouraging symptomatic employees to stay home and sending home associates who appear symptomatic. If a The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake employee is confirmed to have coronavirus, managers have been instructed to immediately report it via our corporate crisis hotline. 
  • We have also provided employees with a coronavirus update and additional guidance from the CDC.
  • Guests will not be permitted to enter if they are sick or if they have come into contact with someone who is sick during the last 14 days.
  • Staff will not enter guest rooms for cleaning service during the guest's stay. Instructions will be given at check-in on how to get additional linens, if needed.
The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake is actively monitoring the coronavirus situation and taking actions advised by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure the safety of our guests and employees.
