2009 Upgrades, Expansions and Additions

This year The Lodge is celebrating it's fifth anniversary.  Five years dedicated to bringing each and every guest the best possible experience during their stay.  While The Lodge has many accomplishments under it's belt for everything from guest service awards to high cleanliness ratings, this enthusiastic resort has a plethora of additions, expansions and renovations planned to enhance the guest experience even more.  Visit The Lodge in 2009 to see what we are doing to 'Create special experiences one guest at a time'.

Completed in 2008

  • Outdoor pool & children's splash area
  • Outdoor playground with slides and climbing surfaces overlooking Lake Erie

Expansions in 2009

  • Our outdoor dining area has been expanded to include more seating and dining options as well as feature outdoor entertainment
  • The gazebo now has a paved walkway leading to it for guest convenience 
  • Look for the new seasonal Menu in Horizons Restaurant featuing American cuisine with a tasty twist on local flavors

Upgrades in 2009

  • What's in a name... Everything! Horizons Restaurant will be acquiring a name enhancement with the addition of the outdoor dining area as well as the recently promoted Executive Chef, Steven Sterritt.  Come experience the flavors of Horizons Restaurant and The Terrace Grille. 
  • The bike trail along Lake Erie has been paved and expanded to run into Geneva State Park.
  • All of the two-room suites have been upgraded to better meet guests comfort.  Four lakeview suites were upgraded to king beds.  Three courtyard view suites were upgraded to 'two queen' beds.  Each with it's own style and charm.

  • A guest coin laundry room to accommodate in house guest laundry
  • An ATM machine in the lobby
