The Lodge & Conference Center at Geneva-on-the-Lake is happy to welcome you and your pet and hope you enjoy your stay.
Please read the following terms if you are planning to travel with your pet.*
1. Pets must be declared during guest registration. Guests who do not register their pet or bring non-approved pets into a guest room will be charged a $150.00 fee.
2. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $50.00 is charged upon check-in. This is for basic cleaning of pet hair and odor. Additional charges for damage may be imposed.
3. No more than two pets per room are allowed at any one time.
4. The pet may not exceed 50 pounds. No dangerous animals, animals perceived to be threatening, wild animals, or other unusual animals will be allowed. The lodge shall make the final determination of whether a specific pet will be permitted.
5. When in public areas of the lodge, pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier.
6. Pets must not be left unattended in the guestrooms.
7. Pets are not permitted in any of the food and beverage areas or at the pool or spa.
8. If the pet barks, makes noises, or is otherwise a cause of guest complaints, the hotel reserves the right to require the guest to remove the pet. If your pet is left unattended and making noise, housekeeping will remove your pet from the room and you will be charged a minimum fee of $90.00. You will be charged an additional $30.00 per hour after the third hour. The Lodge, at its discretion, is not required to provide any warning or second chance for violation of this policy. The decision of the hotel shall be final. GUEST MAY ALSO INCUR ADDITIONAL FEES IF ANOTHER GUEST’S CHARGES MUST BE DISCOUNTED DUE TO PET DISTURBANCE.
9. For the safety and comfort of your pet, housekeeping will NOT clean your room if your pet is left unattended. If both you and your pet are in the room while housekeeping is present, your pet must be leashed or caged. Pease contact housekeeping regarding the cleaning time you prefer for your room.
10. ACCEPTANCE OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES: The guest fully accepts responsibility for any and all damages caused the pet. The guest agrees to pay The Lodge for repairing any such damage. IF THE ROOM IS UNAVAILABLE DURING ANY REPAIR OF DAMAGE INCURED BY PET, THE GUEST SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST REVENUE INCURRED BY THE LODGE. The charges for such damage, repair, and / or lost revenue may be charged to the guest’s credit card.
11. You agree to release, defend and indemnify the Lodge, DNC Parks & Resorts at Geneva, LLC, its parent company and all affiliated entities, from any and all claims or damages related to your pet or pet’s stay at the hotel, including any claims by third-parties.
As always, Licensed Service Animals are welcomed throughout the Lodge.
