Q. Where is the nearest airport?
A. Approximately 55 minutes away in Cleveland, OH.  Airport code: CLE ~ Cleveland Hopkins International Airport


Q. If I want to extend my stay once my conference is over, may I get a room of my own?
A. Of course. Simply contact the front desk to check availability and rates.


Q. Is the The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake open all year long?
A. Yes, 365 days a year - 24 hours a day.


Q. When is the best time of year to visit Ashtabula County, Ohio?
A. The weather is mild in the spring and fall, especially lovely in the summer, and white in the winter months, when it is best to pack warm coats and hats.  Depending on what you are looking for, The Lodge offers a great setting to suit your needs any time of the year.



Q. Does The Lodge at Geneva have an outdoor swimming pool?
A. Yes. The pool is open 9a.m. until dusk.  Memorial Day through Labor Day, 7 days per week. The pool area also includes a hot tub and children's splash area.



Q. Is the outdoor swimming pool heated?
A. Yes it is.


Q. Does the outdoor swimming pool have a "closed" date?
A. Yes it does.  The pool complex will be closing for the season around Labor Day. Please call around the end of September for a more specific date.


Q. Can I bring my bicycle with me?
A. Yes, there are bicycle racks located on the south side of the Resort in warmer weather. We recommend that you keep your bike securely locked whenever you are away from it. However, we ask that you do not bring your bicycle into your room, into any meeting rooms, or secure it to any light poles, sign poles, or any park feature.


Q. The website states bike rentals are available, are they for hotel guests only or everyone?
A. Bike rentals are available for the public as well as Lodge guests.  There is a rental fee to cover the continual maintenance of the bike fleet. ($5/ hour, $18/4hours, $25/All day) 


Q. What additional services and accommodations are available for visitors with disabilities?
A. Parking for the disabled is available, and we have a limited number of rooms that provide various types of access for the disabled. Please contact the front desk prior to arrival, to determine if your specific needs can be met.



Q. Can I bring my pet?
A. Yes.  The Lodge offers several pet friendly rooms located on ground floor with patios with direct access outside. Maximum 2 pets per room, $50 non-refundable fee per room. Other fees may apply.


Q. If a guest brings a pet, are they allowed to leave it in their room if they keep it in a crate?
A. No. Pets must be attended at all times and may be asked to be removed from the premises if barking or making other noises.


Q. If a guest brings a pet, where on the hotel grounds is the pet allowed to go?
A. Pets are allowed in the pet friendly guest rooms and out on the outside grounds.  Pets are not permitted in the pool areas, or the gift shop or in/near the restaurant.  Pets are only permitted in the lobby for check-in.


Q. Are vegetarian meals available?
A. Yes, with advance notice, we can meet most special dietary requirements.



Q. Is room service available to guests?
A. No, but you can get pizza from our restaurant to go.  The in-room pizza special is available during lunch and dinner hours.  (Seasonal hours may apply)



Q. When is the gift shop open?
A. The gift shop is open from 9am to 9pm



Q. Is there a place where I can check my valuables?
A. Safe deposit boxes are provided at the front desk.


Q. Where is the nearest public laundromat? Dry cleaners?
A. There is a guest laundry located on the second floor on the east wing.  Two-day dry cleaning service is available if items are brought to the front desk before noon.


Q. Is babysitting available?
A. We may be able to put you in touch with an outside service. Please call our Front Desk for assistance.


Q. Are there medical services available nearby?
A. The Emergency Room of Geneva Medical Center  is located on Main Avenue. It is about a 10-minute drive from The Lodge at Geneva.



Q: What are check-in and check-out times?
A. Check-in time is 4 pm, and check-out time is 11 am



Q. Is the front desk open 24 hours?
A. Yes.


Q. Do you have a business center?
A. Computer and printer are available in the lobby. We provide photocopying and faxing at the Front Desk.



Q. Is there a refrigerator and microwave in every room?
A. No, microwaves and refrigerators are complimentary and will be sent to your room upon request.  Based on availability.
